Signature Needle Arts at the Guild

We had three generations of the Bothe women come to our June meeting and share with us the trials and tribulations of starting a small business and the effort it takes to keep it up to speed with customer needs. They proudly make their products in Kenosha, Wisconsin and all of their supplies and third party sale items are Made In The USA.  They have customers around the world now.   During the 2008-2009 recession no one from the Signature side of the company saw their hours cut.  Congratulations to them and to us for keeping their quality high and our budgets in line and so that we could still keep buying their  products.  http://www.signatureneedlearts.com

They brought examples of the design process to show the evolution of an idea into a marketable product.   They knew their audience and brought lots of needles and accessories for sale.  They have some great,  clever and innovative products.  

They also ran a raffle for three winners of their products.  Here are some of the items they brought along.  They had pretty brisk sales so I am sure they didn't have much to carry back home.
